Offers described in this article have expired, so this page is out of date. See our details pages for the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card, the Hilton Honors American Express Card and The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card for the current offers.

If you've been on the fence about signing up for a Hilton credit card, now might be an ideal time to apply. All four Hilton Honors American Express cards have increased their offers for new cardholders, and as of Sept. 11, 2018, those offers are available to all new eligible applicants.

Hilton Honors loyalty members were given early access to the bigger offers as of Sept. 6.

The biggest increase was to the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, which received a 50% lift over its debut offer: Earn 150,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months. Terms apply. The previous offer was 100,000 points after meeting the same minimum spending requirement. The card's annual fee is $450.

The three other Hilton cards in the AmEx portfolio made the following changes:

  • Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 in purchases on the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Terms Apply. The previous offer was 100,000 points after meeting the same minimum spending requirement. The card has an annual fee of $150.

  • Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 80,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $2,000 in purchases on the Card in the first 6 months of Card Membership. Terms Apply. The previous offer was 50,000 points after meeting the same minimum spending requirement. The card's annual fee is $0.

  • The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: Earn 175,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $8,000 in purchases on the Hilton Honors Business Card within the first six months of Card Membership. Offer Ends 6/5. Terms Apply. The previous offer was 100,000 points after meeting the minimum spending requirement. The card has a $195 annual fee.

The Nerds value a Hilton Honors point at about a half a cent, which means that the bonus on the Aspire card is now worth about $750. But depending on how you redeem your rewards, you might squeeze even greater value from the points.

Ways to spend those rewards

Here's what you could do with 150,000 Hilton Honors points. In some of these cases, you would even have points left over:

  • Chill out with your preferred traveling partner for two nights over Memorial Day 2019 weekend at the all-inclusive Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

  • Treat the kids to a theme park vacation and bunk down for five nights in a room for four right before Christmas at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs.

  • Keep the New Year's party vibes going with a two-night stay for two on the Strip at the new Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas the first weekend in January 2019.

  • Marvel at a life-size cow sculpted from butter and eat all the fried foods on a stick you can handle in mid-August 2019 at the Iowa State Fair. Sleep off the excitement nearby with a four-night stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Ankeny.

Keep in mind that each of these cards is subject to American Express' "once-in-a-lifetime" rule, meaning if you've owned one of the cards before, you won't be eligible for the welcome offer again on that card.
