We believe everyone should be able to make financial decisions with
confidence. While we don't cover every company or financial product on
the market, we work hard to share a wide range of offers and objective
editorial perspectives.
So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot
pay us to guarantee favorable reviews. Here is a list of our partners.

This article covers the launch of the Capital One Venture Business card from April 2026. Product detils have changed since then. For up-to-date info, see our review of this card.
The Capital One Spark Miles is no more. Starting today, it has a new name: Capital One Venture Business.
Along with the updated moniker, the card added a few perks:
$50 annual travel credit via Capital One Business Travel.
$50 annual statement credit for qualifying software or advertising purchases.
The Venture Business is also kicking off its new era with a massive limited-time offer.
Earn up to 150,000 miles — 75,000 when you spend $7,500 in the first three months. And another 75,000 miles if you spend $30,000 in six months.
That's the same total miles as the current Venture X Business offer, but with twice as much time to earn them.
What else is changing? The Venture Business card has a $95 annual fee — the same as the Spark Miles for Business — but Capital One no longer waives it for the first year.
The Venture Business won't impact your personal credit, either, unless you don’t pay your bill, a Capital One spokesperson told NerdWallet. The Spark Miles reported all activity to consumer credit bureaus.
Beyond that, the card retains its most valuable asset: simple, valuable rewards.
You still earn double miles on purchases.
You still get 5x miles on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel.
You can still transfer your miles to more than 15 loyalty partners.
You still get a statement credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fees (terms apply).
What about existing Spark Miles customers? Existing Spark Miles customers will stay Spark Miles customers. To get the new credits, you need to apply for the Venture Business.
Approval isn't guaranteed. The Venture Business requires excellent credit (typically a FICO of 720+).
The Spark® Miles Select also got a new name — VentureOne Business — though without any new benefits. It’s a good option if you want travel rewards without the annual fee.
