Ever since the "Barbie" movie won the hearts of movie-goers in summer 2023, fans have sought out ways to continue the hype. Between pop-up exhibitions and hotel promotions, celebrations of the iconic doll haven't stopped.

If you want to travel to your own Barbie dream world, here are the best Barbie-inspired trips you can take today:

1. Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Paradise Island, Bahamas

Atlantis Paradise Island has transformed into the ultimate destination for a Beach Barbie vacation. Between now and 2026, the sprawling Bahamas resort features all sorts of Barbie guest rooms, cabanas, dining and shopping.

Atlantis Paradise Island is a massive resort complex consisting of multiple individual hotels, and you'll find Barbie touches throughout. Barbie fans are best off booking a room at The Coral, which is one of the family-oriented hotels. Select suites and guest rooms have received a Barbie makeover including pink walls, shell-shaped throw pillows, disco balls and doll-themed artwork. The Coral’s adjacent swimming pool features a Barbie lounge area.

The Coral’s Sun & Ice also got an overhaul as a Barbie-themed eatery decorated with a retro-style café counter.

Other hotels on the property have also added some Barbie makeovers to certain eateries. Murray’s Delicatessen, located at the very end of the Atlantis Marina Village, serves pink donuts, milkshakes and pink pancakes. Meanwhile Plato’s at The Royal serves up pink items including berry croissants and pink velvet cupcakes with a very berry topping.

Over at The Cove at Atlantis, there's a restaurant called Perch that features pink themed menu items such as the naturally pink Beach Day Beet Hummus and Bahamas Beet Salad with watermelon and mint.

2. World of Barbie: various cities nationwide

The World of Barbie is a temporary exhibition that takes people into Barbie’s world, including a real-life version of her Dreamhouse, camper van, space shuttle and TV studio. There’s also a gallery portion with vintage Barbie dolls and cars on display.

The exhibit is mainly a giant photo opportunity, with some interactive activities for kids, like a ball pit, and even a salon with real stylists on certain days. If you want a unique souvenir, consider building your own custom Barbie set from scratch for an additional fee.

The exhibit has traveled through major cities including Los Angeles, Toronto and Frisco, Texas. Follow along to the World of Barbie website to find out its next location.

3. Malibu Barbie Cafe: Houston

Barbie apparently eats rainbow pancakes, beach burgers and candied bacon at the Malibu Barbie Cafe in Houston, Texas. She drinks cute, colorful cocktails like the Think Pink Margarita or the Cali Collins.

The Barbie-inspired restaurant has operated as a pop-up in the past in cities such as Chicago and New York. These days though, it sits on Washington Avenue in Houston, Texas. Chef Becky Brown, who was a semifinalist on MasterChef, designed the menu.

And there’s more to do at the Barbie restaurant than just eat. There’s a roller skating rink, a gift shop, plus plenty of Instagram-worthy sets designed for you to have your own Barbie-inspired photo shoot.

4. The Barbie room at The Curtis Hotel: Denver

You can book a Barbie-themed hotel room at The Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver. Though the hotel has a boutique feel, it's actually part of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

This hotel has standard rooms as well as themed rooms, including one dedicated to Barbie. The themed rooms typically cost about $50 to $60 more per night than standard rooms, according to hotel spokesperson Tamara Atkin.

The Barbie room is decorated with images of the iconic dolls and has a salon chair inside. And unlike the other temporary offerings, The Curtis Hotel’s Barbie room is a permanent fixture. Though, for a limited time, guests also receive a complimentary makeup case and a voucher for a martini from the hotel bar when they book.

5. The Don CeSar: St. Pete Beach, Florida

This beachfront resort isn’t officially considered a Barbie hotel, but the Don CeSar is known as the “Pink Palace.” It exudes historical charm with a famous pink exterior.

Ron Sandel, general manager of HotelTonight, said in an email that the hotel has seen a 30% increase in bookings this year versus last.

“With Barbie mania in full effect this summer, we’re not surprised to see HotelTonight users book the pink-walled hotel,” he said. “In addition to being steps away from one of the best beaches in the country, we love Don CeSar for its 1950s-style ice cream parlor.”

6. The Royal Hawaiian: Oahu, Hawaii

That's not the only pink gem. On the other side of the country sits The Royal Hawaiian, a landmark on Waikiki Beach. Its iconic pink exterior is complemented by elegant pink accents adorning the rooms and public spaces, creating a sense of luxury and glamour.

As Waikiki’s second oldest hotel, it's known as the “Pink Palace of the Pacific." Bookable through the Marriott Bonvoy program, it makes for one of the best places to stay in Waikiki on points.

Even if you don't stay there, at least pop into the hotel's famous Royal Hawaiian Bakery, where you can feast on pink pancakes.

7. The Ken Dreamhouse on Airbnb: Malibu, California (if you can still get it)

Only a handful of lucky people got a chance to stay in what might be the ultimate Airbnb: Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse. This Malibu dream house is not available for standard booking. The only way to get in is through winning one of Airbnb's not-so-frequent contests. But if you do get in, be prepared for glam. The oceanfront mansion includes a disco dance floor and infinity pool.

Airbnb has run promotions for the glitzy house before. And though there are no current offers, you should at least keep tabs on it.
