If you have elite status in the Hilton Honors program, you can get extra perks like room upgrades, free breakfast (or a food and beverage credit to spend at the hotel) and bonus points on paid stays. Elite members don't pay resort fees when they redeem points for a room. Plus, elite members who use points to pay for a four-night stay get a fifth night free.
