Deals we found
Though Chase is marketing this particular promo as “up to 40% off,” we did a search for Los Cabos in February and found rates discounted by up to 60%. For example, at the Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences, the resort’s $1,972 rate was discounted to $788.80.

Even all-inclusive resorts are on sale; we found rates at the Riu Palace resort reduced by 55%.

The Chase Ultimate Rewards® portal also features discounted vacation rentals if you’re looking for a more private getaway.

Regardless of what type of property you choose, this hotel sale by Chase can help you book it for significantly less.

Which Chase credit cards qualify for this promotion?
This promotion is available to cardholders with cards branded as Sapphire, Ink or Freedom. Examples include the following:
If you’ve considered applying for one of these cards, this might be good timing. The promotion continues through Feb. 29, providing plenty of time to apply for and receive your card. And if you have upcoming travel to one of the eligible destinations, the cost of a hotel booking could help you complete your minimum spending requirement to earn any applicable sign-up bonus a lot faster.
The bottom line
If you’ve got Mexico, Brazil or Costa Rica on your 2020 travel list, then you should definitely look into this Chase promotion. While savings are advertised as “up to 40%,” we were able to find many deals even better than that.
With over a month left to take advantage of these deals, you’ll have plenty of time to apply for an eligible Chase card if you don’t already have one.
