Redeem points for travel
You can redeem points for travel, cash back or gift cards. Points are worth 1 cent each toward travel redemptions, and the minimum redemption amount is 2,500 points (a value of $25). Your points are worth less when redeemed for cash back. The value for gift card redemptions vary.
Redeeming points for travel is simple. Just pay for travel with your card, then use your points to get a statement credit for the eligible purchase. A travel credit is applied as a statement credit to your account to offset travel purchases including airfare, hotels, campgrounds, car rentals, cruises, taxis, parking garages and more.
A benefit of this card’s rewards program is that you don’t have to worry about blackout dates. You also aren’t limited to using points with specific travel partners — you can just book travel as you normally do, pay with your card, then use points to offset the purchase.
The bottom line
The Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card has a straightforward rewards structure, which makes it simple to use points to offset travel purchases. Cardholders who qualify for Gold, Platinum or Platinum Honors with the Preferred Rewards for Business program can earn up to 75% more points on everyday purchases.
Redeeming points for travel will give the most value for your rewards, but you also have the flexibility to use them for gift cards or cash at a lesser redemption value.
