Air travel can be stressful enough without having to wade through throngs of people, pay for an overpriced hamburger or search for a seat. This is especially true if you're flying through Las Vegas, where slot machines dominate much of the terminals.
But Harry Reid International Airport is not all gambling and pricey snacks. There are airport lounges scattered throughout the terminals, and each features complimentary food and drinks, an abundance of chargers and ample seating. Best of all, the majority of these lounges can be accessed for free if you hold the right card.
NerdWallet's ratings are determined by our editorial team. The scoring formula takes into account the type of card being reviewed (such as cash back, travel or balance transfer) and the card's rates, fees, rewards and other features.
The newest lounge at Las Vegas airport opened in December 2025, and it's the poshest option available. The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club spans two stories and 5,390 square feet in Terminal 1, Concourse C between gates 47 and 48.
The lounge features a champagne parlor where travelers can order sparkling wine, mimosas and seasonal spritz cocktails delivered to their seats by bar cart service, complete with passed appetizers. The menu is curated by Momofuku, the acclaimed restaurant group founded by David Chang, and includes dishes like spicy cucumber salad, crispy nori potatoes, Momofuku's signature pork bun, beef barbacoa on brioche and a full-sized Sapphire burger with fries.
The design reflects Las Vegas with bold, shimmering finishes inspired by the city's nightlife mixed with desert-themed accents. The lounge includes quiet zones with flexible seating and movable laptop tables, plus Chase's signature water-vapor fireplace. Unlike some other high-end lounges, this location doesn't have a workout room or shower.
Though it's on the Priority Pass network, Priority Pass members are limited to just one visit per calendar year to a Chase Sapphire Lounge (subsequent visits will cost you $75). However, cardholders with certain premium Chase cards, including the Chase Sapphire Reserve® receive unlimited Sapphire Lounge visits for themselves and two guests.

American Express Centurion Lounge: Concourse D
American Express' Centurion Lounge in Las Vegas offers travelers a wide range of amenities, including a buffet, a full-service bar and showers. It's located in the D Concourse opposite gate D1.
Those who are traveling in other terminals are able to access the lounge via the tram system, which is located after security.

American Express opened its first Sidecar lounge in March 2026 as a table-service concept designed for travelers looking for a quick, upscale bite before their flight. It's located near gate D1 in Concourse D, to the left of the escalators coming up from the tram level.
Unlike the traditional Centurion Lounge buffet next door, Sidecar seats guests at tables where they order from a QR code menu and receive food within about eight minutes. The space is intimate — just 33 seats between bar seating and tables and booths along the wall — making it best suited for solo travelers or pairs.

The two USO Lounges in Las Vegas are available exclusively to active duty members of the military and their families. The first is located in Terminal 1 just outside the security checkpoint for A and B gates. The second USO lounge is located in Terminal 3 in the baggage claim area, next to carousel 20.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve® has been my go-to card for lounge access since 2018. You get a Priority Pass Select membership that allows unlimited lounge visits for you and up to two guests, and you can access Chase Sapphire lounges in New York and Boston. The food options in the Chase lounge are much better than most lounges, and the decor is modern and pleasant. It's a great place to relax or get some work done outside of the terminal.

I use my Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card for lounge access. It not only comes with access to Priority Pass lounges, but also to Capital One lounges across the U.S. The food options at the Capital One Lounge are great. I like that there are a bunch of small plates, so you don't have to commit to a heavy meal before a flight. You can even grab food to take with you from their to-go section.

I'm spoiled. I find it difficult to travel without lounge access! Lounge access makes it so I actually want to arrive at the airport early, removing any stress that unforeseen delays might cause me to miss my flight. Of course, some lounges are better than others. The American Express Platinum Card® gets me into Centurion Lounges, which are all better than any Priority Pass lounge I've been to.
