The American Express® Gold Card now has a new welcome bonus, making it hard to resist. Earn 35,000 Membership Rewards® points after you spend $4,000 on eligible purchases with your new Card within the first 3 months. Terms Apply. That’s a whopping 10,000 more points than the American Express® Gold Card’s previous welcome bonus.

If this offer is enough to get you signed up, here are some ways you can redeem all those points.

Get out of town

With 35,000 Membership Rewards points, that trip you’ve been planning might suddenly become affordable. You can redeem the points for $350 toward a flight. Don’t already have a destination in mind? According to Google Flights, a nonstop, round-trip flight from New York to the Bahamas costs about $350.

You can also transfer the points to another loyalty program. AmEx has a slew of Membership Rewards partners, making it easy to transfer points to those programs. But keep in mind that the exchange rate varies by partner.

Go Grande

Your Membership Rewards can be redeemed toward a purchase on Ticketmaster. Redeem 35,000 points for roughly $175.00. That’s a good chunk of cash — enough to score you seats at an upcoming Ariana Grande show.

Shop till you drop

AmEx partners with a variety of retailers that allow you to use your points at checkout. Shop online at places like Best Buy, Staples, Amazon and even Seamless and use your points for purchases.

Gift a card

Owe someone a birthday present? Redeem your Membership Rewards points for a gift card through any of AmEx’s partners. The value of your points will fluctuate by retailer.
