The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is a popular choice for seasoned rewards travelers. It earns 2X points on travel and dining, and it also offers a 20% booking bonus in the Chase Ultimate Rewards® travel portal.
Travel includes everything from airline tickets and hotel stays to buses, trains, rental cars, taxis and even parking garages. The double points for dining including eating out at a restaurant, but also takeout, even when ordered through an online app. That means all those meals in airports and on the road add up, and the seasoned traveler knows how to snatch up those points.
But it’s also a great choice for people new to rewards travel. The welcome bonus is impressive: Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That's $750 toward travel when you redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards®.
Whether you’re new to collecting points or a veteran rewards traveler, here are a few other perks that make the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card a go-to card in any wallet.
