More about Peloton stock
Founded in 2012, Peloton was a pioneer in the merging of fitness and technology. The company, whose flagship product is an exercise bike with a built-in screen in front of the rider, aimed to bring the challenging workouts and sense of community from the gym to the home. Peloton's IPO documents showed it had incurred a net loss in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and since going public, the company's performance — and stock price — has been on a wild ride.
CEO: Barry McCarthy.
PTON stock history: Peloton went public in 2019 and priced its shares at $29. During the pandemic in 2020, Peleton's stock soared higher than $150 as gyms shuttered and people took to working out at home. But the stock — like many "work from home" stocks — returned to its pre-pandemic range in 2022.
