For travelers who frequent any hotels under the Radisson Hotel Group, the Radisson Rewards program offers many benefits.

While NerdWallet's research values Radisson Rewards points at just 0.6 cent each, there are still many reasons to sign up. Here are just a few.

Plenty of options

Radisson Rewards was created when Hospitality Inc. — previously known as Carlson Hotels Inc. — merged with Rezidor Hotel Group. The result was the newly-formed Radisson Hotel Group, and the chance for Radisson Rewards members to rack up points at seven different brands: Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, Park Plaza, Radisson Red, Radisson, Radisson Blu and Radisson Collection. The hotels cover quite a broad price range, meaning there's something for everyone.

Radisson Rewards members can also earn points through car rentals, by using the Radisson Rewards mobile app, shopping at eBay and more.

Earning power

Radisson Rewards members earn points based on their loyalty status. The rates increase quite a bit, so it behooves members to keep earning as they go.

From lowest to highest status, here is what members earn based on their status:

  • Rewards Club: 20 points per $1 spent on eligible rates

  • Silver: 22 points per $1 spent

  • Gold: 25 points per $1 spent

  • Platinum: 35 points per $1 spent

A card worth owning

Travelers can earn Radisson Rewards points through three consumer credit cards and one business card.

The stand out here is the Radisson Rewards Premier Visa Signature® Card. Cardholders can earn 10 points per $1 spent at Radisson Hotels and 5 points per $1 spent everywhere else. There's also a hefty signup bonus: None
