The giveaway at this Saturday’s San Francisco Giants game is way better than a bobblehead. The first 40,000 fans who enter Oracle Park for the Sept. 14, 2019, game against Miami will receive a 2-for-1 flight voucher on Alaska Airlines. After the game, you’ll only have three days to book your travel, because the voucher expires on Sept. 17, 2019.
Here’s what you need to know about this special promotion:
The voucher lets you buy one regular-price economy class ticket and get the second ticket for just the price of taxes. You can use the voucher for one-way or round-trip flights, and it must be used for two people booked and traveling together on the same itinerary.
You can go almost anywhere Alaska flies (except Prudhoe Bay), but you must depart from one of these NorCal airports:
The fine print
The discount is valid for most travel from Oct. 29, 2019, through Feb. 13, 2020. Here are some of the restrictions:
Travel to Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Sundays through Wednesdays.
Travel from Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Tuesdays through Fridays.
All other travel is valid Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Saturdays.
Blackout dates: Nov. 21-30, 2019; Dec. 1-3, 2019; Dec. 12-31, 2019; and Jan. 1-7, 2020.

How to get the deal
You’ll need to buy a ticket to the Sept. 14, 2019, Giants game at Oracle Park. Tickets on MLB.com range from $59 to $399 before taxes and fees. The stadium’s capacity is just under 42,000 fans, so your odds of being one of the first 40,000 are pretty good.
Benefits at the game for Alaska Airlines Visa Signature cardholders
Get your Giants gear for less. Through Sept. 15, 2019, Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card holders will receive a 20% discount at the San Francisco Giants Dugout Store at Oracle Park (3rd Street location).
Cardholders attending the Sept. 13, Sept. 14 and Sept. 15 games can take advantage of that deal. This discount is one of the many benefits of the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card, which NerdWallet named the top airline credit card of 2019.
