The main draw of a corporate card isn't getting a big welcome offer. But the Ramp Card makes a compelling argument against that, especially after doubling its bonus in March 2026.

What's new with business card welcome offers?

The toughest thing about a business card welcome offer can be knowing if "now" is a good time to apply. Our editorial team created this bonus tracker to help. Here's what to know about it.
  • How recent is this information? We aim to list roughly the previous 12 months of offers. This can show when an issuer has updated bonuses in the past year. You can also see how long limited-time offers have lasted. There's no guarantee such timing will happen again. But this info can give you a sense of when to take action.
  • How do you keep these offers up-to-date? NerdWallet has a dedicated data quality team that alerts our writers and editors about bonus changes. We update our pages accordingly, including this tracker. Many of the offers listed may now be expired or out-of-date. They're here solely for informational purposes.
  • What welcome bonuses are included? Our writers and editors focus on widely available business cards. As a result, this tracker covers most major cards from most major issuers. It is not all-encompassing. This tracker also highlights changes to bonuses, not their current values. We list those elsewhere on this page.

How we chose the best business credit card sign-up bonuses

Our writers and editors monitor roughly 70 business credit cards. We evaluate them on a number of factors, including annual fees and rewards. But this page is all about how good a card's bonus offer is. We determine that by looking at the following:
  • How much money you'll get. That's easy to tell for cash-back business cards. For cards with bonus points or miles, we convert those rewards to a cash equivalent based on NerdWallet's redemption values.
  • How much you have to spend. Bigger bonuses typically have bigger spend requirements. We want to make sure you're actually getting more for your money. (Learn how to calculate this yourself.)
  • How long you have to earn a bonus. The standard is 90 days. Some business cards double that length, though. Extra runway won't make an offer more valuable. But it can make it easier to obtain, especially if you have to spend a lot.

Other good business credit card welcome offers

The following business card sign-up bonuses are potentially less valuable or harder to get than our top picks. But they may make sense for you based on your spending habits or personal preferences.

What is a business credit card sign-up bonus?

A business credit card sign-up bonus is a perk for new cardholders typically awarded as cash back or points. To earn a welcome offer, you must meet the offer's spending requirements within the designated timeframe (often 90 days). Big bonuses can have big requirements — as much as $30,000 in three months, depending on the card.
Sign-up bonuses can change frequently and you can be excluded from the offer based on your history with an issuer (whether you’ve had a version of that business card before, how many cards you have with the provider, etc.). If you’re unsure about your eligibility, contact the issuer before applying for clarification.

How do business credit card welcome offers compare with personal cards?

Business credit cards usually have much larger welcome offers than personal cards. Why? Because small-business owners tend to spend more than consumers. And the more you spend, the more the card issuer earns.
That means issuers can afford to be more generous — and enticing — with their sign-up bonuses for business credit cards. Here are some examples of sign-up bonuses featured by business credit cards compared with a comparable consumer-level card.

Nerdy Tip
You don’t need a business to get a business credit card and qualify for bigger sign-up bonuses. Freelance gigs and side jobs — even dogsitting or selling items on Facebook Marketplace — are good enough to get a business card. You don't even need business revenue, just an excellent personal credit score to qualify for most business credit cards.

How to compare business credit card bonuses

It can be tricky to evaluate business credit card bonuses with different criteria side-by-side. Here’s a simple equation to compare them:
  • Required spending amount / bonus amount
The lower the result, the better potential value of the offer.
For example, let’s say card “A” has a $350 cash bonus if you spend $4,000 in 90 days while card “B” gives you $250 for spending $3,000 in that time frame. Here’s how these offers break down:
  • Card A: 4,000 / 350 = 11.4
  • Card B: 3,000 / 250 = 12
In this case, card A’s extra $100 is seemingly the better deal. Of course, if you know your business won’t spend $4,000, then your calculus should change. Ditto for if that card’s other features — perhaps it has an annual fee or capped rewards — would influence its staying power for you. Still, this is one way to factor bonuses into your broader decision.
Travel, hotel and airline business credit cards usually offer points in their welcome offers instead of cash. You’ll want to convert those points to dollars since their value depends on many factors, including how and where you plan to redeem them. Here’s how NerdWallet values different issuer points to help you evaluate those offers.

Methodology

NerdWallet's writers and editors monitor more than 70 business credit cards to select the best options without outside input from partners or other business interests. We evaluate business cards based on value and simplicity, weighing fees, sign-up bonuses and reward rates, alongside perks like interest-free periods, statement credits and elite status (for travel cards).
We consider more than 20 data points for each card we score, including detailed information about rewards, credits and fees. We gather this information from rates and fees documents, deposit account agreements, financial institution websites and company representatives.
Our editorial team regularly reviews and updates our data to ensure consistency and accuracy. We also update our scoring on an ongoing basis to reflect changing industry norms and business owner needs. For instance, in 2026, we added a small deduction for cards that don’t allow users to issue virtual cards and removed the small increase for cards with no preset spending limit.
Final star ratings range from one to five stars. A five-star score represents the best available product for the largest number of business owners. Learn how NerdWallet rates small-business credit cards.
