We believe everyone should be able to make financial decisions with
confidence. While we don't cover every company or financial product on
the market, we work hard to share a wide range of offers and objective
editorial perspectives.
So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot
pay us to guarantee favorable reviews. Here is a list of our partners.

Nerdy takeaways
Singapore KrisFlyer miles are worth about 1.5 cents each when redeemed for economy award flights.
You might be able to get a slightly higher value if you book holiday flights with points.
Just about anyone that earns any type of transferrable credit card points can get Singapore KrisFlyer miles. The airline is a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards®, AmEx Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou points and Capital One miles. But whether you should transfer to Singapore KrisFlyer or not depends on whether you're getting a high-value redemption.
This is a baseline value, drawn from real-world data on hundreds of economy routes, not a maximized value. In other words, you should aim for award redemptions that offer 1.1 cents or more in value from your Singapore KrisFlyer miles.
What does this value mean?
Our estimated value of 1.1 cents per Singapore KrisFlyer mile provides a lower-end value you can use to determine the relative value of your own redemptions. It is based on comparing main cabin fares using both cash and miles, across several dates and destinations.
In other words, this is the value you can expect to get from your Singapore KrisFlyer miles without seeking particularly high-value redemptions. This means you can get more value by looking for Singapore KrisFlyer sweet spots and using more advanced award techniques. It also means you can end up getting lower value than this if you’re not careful.

How did we determine the Singapore KrisFlyer miles value?
We collected hundreds of data points comparing the cash value with award (Turkish KrisFlyer miles) value for the same routes and dates. That is, we compared the cost of a given ticket in either cash or miles, across many tickets.
This method differs from others in that it looks at actual redemptions rather than hypothetical, maximized redemptions. The advantage of this approach is that it provides a real-world indication of how much these Singapore KrisFlyer miles are worth, on average. That said, it doesn’t take into account the high-value redemptions that points enthusiasts seek.
