Charles Schwab adds 16 new ETFs

  • Charles Schwab has added 16 new ETFs to its Schwab ETF OneSource platform, which launched earlier this year. Schwab clients can now trade 121 different ETFs with $0 online trade commissions. The 16 new ETFs include five from Guggenheim, five from SPDR ETFs and six from Charles Schwab. 
  • Fidelity completed an acquisition of Annuity Direct as a part of the company’s initiatives in the growing retirement market. The acquisition will provide Fidelity customers greater choice and support at retirement, but also aims to broaden Annuity Direct’s services to a range of intermediaries and trustee clients.
