The PayPal Cashback Mastercard® offers an unlimited 2% cash back on everything you buy with the card. That’s an elite rewards rate for a flat-rate card in an industry where 1.5% cash back is more common.
The allure of the card is that it’s simple and rewarding. You don’t have to remember different rewards for different purchases or activating quarterly reward categories every quarter like some cards require. It has an annual fee of $0.
A potential downside is you must have a PayPal account to apply, and rewards are tightly tied to that account. But if you already have a PayPal account or don’t mind signing up for a free one, this is an excellent choice as a cash-back credit card.
