3 types of business class on British Airways
British Airways has three business class products: Club Europe, Club World and Club World Suites. Club Europe is available on short-haul flights throughout Europe, while Club World and Club World Suites are available on longer international flights.

Club Europe
Club Europe tickets are available on short-haul journeys within Europe.
This seating class is available on:
Airbus 319-100.
Airbus 320-200.
Airbus 321-200.
Airbus A321neo planes.
What's included
Bag allowance. You can bring one full-sized cabin bag plus a laptop or handbag on board. Your cabin bag must not exceed 51 pounds and must not be larger than 22 x 18 x 10 inches in size. Your handbag must not exceed 51 pounds, and measurements must not exceed 16 x 12 x 6 inches. You can also check up to two bags. Checked bags can have a maximum weight of 70 pounds, and measurements must not exceed 35.5 x 29.5 x 16 inches.
Boarding. British Airways fliers board by a group. Club Europe ticketed customers are part of the Priority Group 1, so they can board the plane before other travelers.
Seats. Travelers can enjoy a 30-inch seat pitch and fully moveable headrests.
Lounges. Club Europe passengers have access to British Airways departure lounges and partner lounges.
Club World
You may be wondering, is British Airways Club World the same as business class? The answer is yes. Club World tickets offer a premium, business class flight experience compared to flying long-haul in economy. This seating class is available on the following plane models:
Airbus 321-200.
Airbus 380-800.
Boeing 777-200.
Boeing 777-300.
Boeing 787-8.
Boeing 787-9.
Does British Airways business class have flat beds? Yes, Club World ticketed passengers can enjoy fully flat beds. However, this is not the case for short-haul Club Europe business class flights.
What's included
Here’s what you need to know about Club World business class tickets:
Bag allowance. The Club World baggage allowance is the same as it is for Club Europe passengers.
Boarding. As previously mentioned, passengers board British Airways flights in groups. Club World passengers board with Priority Group 2, meaning they board the plane after first-class passengers.
Seats. Club World tickets are available for longer international flights, so you can expect a more comfortable seating experience when compared to flying with a Club Europe ticket. Your seat features a fully adjustable headrest and lumbar support. When it’s time to rest, your seat extends into a fully flat 6-foot bed. Bedding and amenity kits designed by The White Company provide added comfort.
Lounges. Club World passengers can enter British Airways departure lounges and partner lounges. Additionally, Club World travelers can visit the Galleries Arrivals Lounge in Terminal 5A at London Heathrow.

Club World Club Suites
Are you looking to enjoy a more upgraded travel experience? Club World tickets on select flights feature new Club Suites. These suites include direct aisle access, a larger 79-inch fully flat bed and 17-inch high-resolution screens.
A limited number of Club Suites are available on select flights. Flights on Airbus A350-1000 planes feature the new Club Suites.

British Airways offers discounted Club World and Club Europe tickets. These deals are advertised on the British Airways website. Take a look through these deals before booking a business class ticket to see if you can spend less money.
Book business class tickets with points
If you’re planning to fly with British Airways, booking business class tickets with points is a valuable redemption option. NerdWallet estimates that Avios (British Airways points) are worth 1.9 cents each when redeemed for business class flights.
Book award tickets well in advance
If you’re redeeming points for British Airways business class tickets, it’s in your best interest to book your tickets far in advance. Based on our analysis, you’ll get more value from your points this way.
We compared business class award tickets to determine the best time to book. We found that points were worth 1.3 cents each for bookings made 15 days before departure. On the other hand, points were worth 1.5 cents each on business class award tickets booked 180 days in advance.
