Pros and cons

Pros
  • High rewards rate

  • No foreign transaction fee

Cons
  • Has annual fee

The Navy Federal Credit Union® Visa Signature® Flagship Rewards Credit Card offers more than many other travel cards at similar price points.

It has a modest annual fee of $49, but in exchange you'll earn high ongoing rewards of triple points on travel purchases and double points on everything else. You'll also get travel-friendly perks including a statement credit for Global Entry or TSA Precheck application fees.

There's a generous sign-up bonus, too: None.

You have to join the Navy Federal Credit Union to apply, which may be a problem if you don't meet the eligibility criteria.
