Most Valuable Benefits of the Ink Business Unlimited Card

Chase Ultimate Rewards® are some of the most versatile and valuable points you can collect in the travel rewards space, and the Chase Ink family of business cards can be an excellent way to add to your total.
But with so many different Ink business cards to choose from, how do you know which one is right for you? We took a deep dive into the most valuable benefits of the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card to help you understand if this card makes sense for you.
0% intro APR for one year
The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card offers 0% intro APR on Purchases for 12 months, and then the ongoing APR of 13.24% - 19.24% Variable APR 0% APR for the first 12 months that you have the card.
This powerful perk means that you won’t have to make any interest payments on your credit card balance for the first year that you have the card. However, you will still be responsible for making minimum payments on your balance.
No interest payments are a great benefit for anyone, but it's especially valuable if you are a business owner. New businesses often require a large upfront investment. With this intro APR, you can make the investments you need without getting buried under interest payments that can drain your bank account.
Of course, you should also be aware that you will be responsible for paying interest on any balance after the first 12 months are up.

$0 annual fee
Generally, we think of card benefits in terms of what you get, but it's also worth noting what the card doesn’t take from you. With a $0 annual fee, you never have to break out your calculator and determine your point valuations to understand if the benefits you’re earning outweigh the fee you’re paying for holding the card.
You’ll also never feel pressured to use the card because you have to justify the fee.
It’s also generally true that $0-annual-fee credit cards have lower welcome bonuses. For example, the Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express card offers the following: Earn a $300 statement credit after you spend $3,000 in purchases on your new Card within the first 6 months. Terms Apply. This simply doesn’t compare with the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card offer.
Sign-up bonus
The most valuable benefit of many reward cards is the sign-up bonus, and this is one perk where the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card shines: Earn $750 bonus cash back after you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
This compares favorably with cards such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, which comes with a significantly higher fee of $550 for a similar sized sign-up bonus (though it also comes with many premium travel perks).

1.5% cash back on everything
Many cards provide bonus points or cash back for specific spending categories, such as travel or dining, then one point for every purchase outside of these categories.
The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card does away with bonus categories and simply provides 1.5% cash back for every dollar you spend. This cash back is then tracked as points in their system where 100 points = $1. This is a great perk for people whose spending mainly falls outside of traditional bonus categories or those who simply don’t want to be forced to keep track of where their credit card will get them the greatest value.
Another nice perk is that points earning is unlimited. This is different from the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, which offers 5% back on internet, cable and phone services but limits your bonus earnings to the first $25,000 of your spending.
Additional perks
The card also comes with a number of additional perks that can provide tremendous value for the right user:
Purchase protection of up to $10,000 for items that are either damaged or stolen within 120 days of being purchased with the card (max $50,000 limit per account).
Collision insurance for rental cars that are primarily used for business purposes.
Free employee cards.
Extended warranty protection.
Right for you?
The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card is a potentially very lucrative card in the right hands. A hefty sign-up bonus and intro APR for the first year provide real value for new users, and a $0 annual fee means that it's a low-risk card to have.
