British Airways Visa Signature® Card: Best for big spendersBritish Airways Visa Signature® Card is a good card to consider. It offers 3 Avios (miles) on every dollar spent on British Airways purchases and 1 Avios on everything else. There’s also a signup bonus: Earn 50,000 bonus Avios after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. Earn an additional 25,000 bonus Avios after you spend $10,000 total on purchases within your first year of account opening for a total of 75,000 bonus Avios. Avios are redeemable for flights on any of the OneWorld airlines, including American Airlines.
The British Airways Visa Signature® Card has a $95 annual fee, but no foreign transaction fees. It has an EMV chip for safer transactions in the United States and abroad. Plus, if you spend at least $30,000 a year, you’ll receive a Travel Together ticket good for two years.
Miles & More® Premier World MasterCard®: Best for booking flights on a wide variety of European airlines
If you frequently fly on European airlines, the Miles & More® Premier World MasterCard® is a great card. Additionally, you’ll receive a companion ticket after your first purchase and annually after that.
