For every Discover card purchase at a U.S. Wal-Mart store through May 15, 2017, Discover is donating one meal to Feeding America, a nonprofit with a nationwide network of food banks, as part of Wal-Mart’s “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” campaign.

If you participate, you might earn rewards in addition to doing good: The Discover it® Cash Back, for example, gives you 1% cash back at Wal-Mart, while the Discover it® Miles gives you 1.5 miles per every $1 spent

Campbell Soup Co., General Mills Inc., Kellogg Co., Kraft Heinz Co. and Pepsi are also donating meals for qualifying Wal-Mart purchases. See qualifying items here, If you’re feeling extra generous, Wal-Mart is accepting cash donations to Feeding America at its registers.

Each donated meal has a value of 9 cents. Discover will donate up to $1 million worth of meals.

Nearly 15.8 million American households don’t always know where their next meal will come from, according to 2015 data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
