Citi is giving one of its best cards a new look, and the watchword is, well, simplicity.

The Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever boasts a subdued redesign employing the circular motif seen on most of Citi’s other bank-branded cards. The previous design could have variously been described as a lightning strike, a neon sign or perhaps a corner snipped off a psychedelic topographical map.

The new design will go live on July 27, Citi says.

What hasn’t changed about the card is its industry-leading introductory 0% APR period, which has long made it one of NerdWallet’s favorite balance-transfer credit cards. It gives you an APR of 0% Intro APR on Balance Transfers and Purchases for 21 months. After that, the variable APR will be 14.99% – 24.99% based on your creditworthiness. (Editor’s note: The APR changed in January 2017. It’s now 0% on Purchases for 12 months and 0% on Balance Transfers for 21 months, and then the ongoing APR of 16.49% - 26.49% Variable APR.) It has a balance-transfer fee of 5% of the amount transferred or $5, whichever is greater. The annual fee is $0*.

Although you should always aim to pay your credit card bill on time, the forgetful among us will appreciate that this card is one of the most forgiving around. It charges no late fees and imposes no penalty APRs. You also can choose your own due date, which might make it a little easier to remember to pay on time.

Compare the new design to some of Citi’s other cards, and you’ll probably sense a theme:
