The United Quest℠ Card offers a good way to earn more miles and perks than with the carrier’s more basic cards — that is, if you can get past the thought of an annual fee of $250.

That fee can be mitigated by using the $125 annual credit for United purchases. The card also includes such perks as award-flight credits, progress toward elite status and extra free checked bags. Earn extra miles by using the card for spending on United purchases, travel, dining and streaming services.

If you mix your flying with airlines, a general travel card might be a better pick, but frequent United Airlines flyers should take a hard look at the United Quest℠ Card.
