With nearly two years of interest-free breathing room, the U.S. Bank Visa® Platinum Card could give you the time you need to tackle that big purchase or zap a high balance you’re carrying elsewhere. The annual fee is $0.
If you're considering this card to help manage your debt, make sure to mind the balance transfer fee. The U.S. Bank Visa® Platinum Card charges 3% of the amount being transferred, or $5, whichever is greater. Although there are cards that don't have this charge, they typically have shorter introductory 0% APR periods.
The U.S. Bank Visa® Platinum Card is also one of a handful of cards on the market that comes with cell phone insurance. If you pay your cell phone bill every month with this card, you’ll get coverage for damage or theft up to $600, with a $25 deductible, for up to two claims for a total of $1,200 per 12-month period.
