Retailers and other institutions are offering Earth Day-themed deals to encourage environmentally friendly habits like recycling and reusing items. Here are six limited-time discounts and freebies that will better your world, and your bank account.
National parks: Entrance to all National Park Service sites is free April 21, the first day of National Park Week.
Buffalo Exchange: On April 21, all Buffalo Exchange locations will offer select clothing items for $1 each. Proceeds go to The 5 Gyres Institute, a nonprofit working to combat plastic pollution.
Amazon: Save up to 20% on nature-friendly home products throughout April.
Best Buy: Through April 28, trade in a working Apple Watch and receive $70 toward a new Series 3 Apple Watch.
BurgerFi: Diners can get the vegetarian VegeFi Burger and the plant-based Beyond Burger for $5 each at participating locations April 22. With any burger purchase, customers will also receive a free “plantable burger” that they can use to grow their own lettuce and tomatoes.
