Wells Fargo Cash Wise Bumps Bonus Up to $200

Credit card issuers continue to improve their offers to bring in new cardholders. The latest example is the Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa® card, which is boosting its sign-up bonus. Wells Fargo describes it this way: "Earn a $200 cash rewards bonus after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months."
The new bonus is a $50 increase from before.
The Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa® card earns an unlimited 1.5% cash back on purchases and has an annual fee of $0. New cardholders are also eligible for 1.8% cash back on digital wallet purchases made through Apple Pay or Android Pay for the first 12 months. As with some other cards with online malls, you can earn additional bonus cash back at retailers in the Wells Fargo Earn More Mall.
The 1.5% cash-back rate is equal to that of several other cards, including the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card and the Chase Freedom Unlimited®, although those cards offer a different sign-up bonus. The Citi Double Cash® Card pays a higher combined rate — 1% cash back on purchases and another 1% when you pay them off — but its standard offer does not include a sign-up bonus.
Although the Citi Double Cash® Card has not traditionally offered a sign-up bonus, the card currently has this offer in effect: Earn $200 cash back after you spend $1,500 on purchases in the first 6 months of account opening. This bonus offer will be fulfilled as 20,000 ThankYou® Points, which can be redeemed for $200 cash back.
