Expected to rival even Black Friday in shopping traffic this year, Super Saturday is one of the last opportunities for consumers to make a dent in holiday purchases before Christmas. Falling this year on Dec. 20, the shopping holiday is expected to take the No. 1 spot this season, according to research firm ShopperTrak.

Here’s a brief roundup of sales to keep an eye on as you head to the stores this weekend:

Look out for big discounts from Aeropostale this holiday season. The apparel retailer is planning to close 75 locations during the fourth fiscal quarter, November through January. Major sales this weekend include 50-70% off almost all styles and a 30% discount on clearance items (code: EXTRA30).

And if you’re shopping online, there’s still time. To receive your purchase by Dec. 24 by standard shipping, order by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time Dec. 21.

Banana Republic

Following the store’s “procrastinator” promotion of 30% markdowns, Banana Republic is gearing up for discounts of 50% on everything in stores. The sale lasts through Dec. 21 and includes markdowns of 60% all women’s sweaters (except clearance).

But that’s not all. With the promotional code BR10, you’ll also get 10% off any purchase of $100 or more.

Whether you’re shopping online or in stores this Super Saturday, you’ll get 40% off your purchase at Gap.

To take advantage of the promotion, which kicked off earlier this week, make sure to apply the coupon code WRAP for online purchases. Saturday is also the last day to order online for delivery by Christmas, as long as you order by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

As an added benefit, you’ll find extended store hours across the country, but check the website to find the details of your nearest location.

Although it isn’t the biggest sale the store has ever seen, shoppers who head to H&M this weekend will save $10 on any purchase of $60 or more. The promotion is valid in all brick-and-mortar locations from Dec. 20 through 21. To apply the discount, print the coupon online or show it on your smartphone.

Both cyber- and in-store shoppers can take advantage of a number of Super Saturday deals at JCPenney. If you’re shopping online, use the code SNOWMAN to get 25% off purchases of $100 or more and 20% off orders of less than $100.

Whether you’re shopping in stores or through the Internet, you can apply a discount of $10 for purchases of $25 or more. Use the code JOYFUL for online purchases and print out the coupon for in-store shopping.

The sale also includes up to 60% off on outerwear, cold-weather accessories, boats and more. Plus, if you buy $100 worth of gift cards, you’ll get a $25 discount.

The shopping season is in full gear at Kohl’s. You’ll find locations open 24 hours a day, now through 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Through Dec. 24, the store is offering 20% off for customers who spent at least $100 (online code: CANDY) and 15% for purchases of less than $100 (online code: CANES). Valid in stores and online, the promotion requires the appropriate coupon code or printed coupon to apply.

You’ll also find 10-33% off select small appliances, up to 50% off toys and 50-60% off sleepwear.

Look out for Super Saturday discounts at Macy’s one-day sale. Shoppers can take advantage of the store’s extended hours, with doors open from 7 a.m. through midnight.

You’ll find great deals whether you’re shopping in stores or online. Some of the best “web busters” include 50% off select kids’ Epic Threads clothing, $100 off select women’s Charter Club cashmere sweaters and 60% off select men’s Club Room cashmere sweaters.

Other great discounts you’ll find are 60% off on select women’s and juniors’ sweaters, 70% off select men’s sweaters and women’s Rampage boots for $19.99 (regularly $49.99-$59.99). Sleepwear and outerwear are also great areas for bargains, with 50-60% off select coats and select sleepwear.

In the home department, you’ll find 60% off all heated blankets, mattress pads and throws, as well as 40% off coffee, tea and espresso makers.

Toys R Us

Your one-stop location for kids’ toys and games, Toys R Us is featuring a two-day sale that ends this Saturday.

Among the “red-hot” doorbusters, you’ll find a 50% discount on Razor eSpark electric scooters, 50% off all kid-powered two-wheeled scooters and a buy-one-get-one-free deal on Twister Skyball items. Some deals are only available in stores.
