Forget the 12 days of Christmas. This year at Kohl’s, get ready for 100 straight hours of Christmas shopping.

That’s right. The popular department store has announced that it will remain open from 6 a.m. Dec. 19 until 6 p.m. Dec. 24 – more than 100 hours – without closing in an effort to accommodate last-minute shoppers.

“Customers can rely on us around the clock for their last-minute gift giving solutions, and we are providing 24-hour access to Kohl’s stores right up to Christmas Eve,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief customer officer, in a news release.

“Kohl’s offers a deep assortment of national and exclusive brands to make gift giving easy and exciting this holiday,” Gass said.  “From popular gifts like toys, electronics and jewelry to great giftables such as men’s novelty items and beauty gift sets, customers will be inspired to select the perfect gift for everyone on their list and shop whenever it is most convenient for them.”

Sales Promotions

These hours upon hours of shopping time will equal plenty of opportunities – throughout the day and the night – for shoppers to snag a variety of gifts and stocking stuffers. Plus, while shopping, gift givers can likely expect Kohl’s to continue its seasonal savings events.

For example, through Dec. 15, the retailer is hosting a Christmas discount promotion both in-store and online. Online, customers who spend $100 or more can save 20% with promo code WREATH. Those who spend less than $100 can save 15% with promo code HOLLY.

There’s More, Too

The announcement of 100-plus hours of Christmas shopping time may seem impressive enough, but Kohl’s stores have more holly-jolly holiday opportunities up their sleeves as well. Here are some of the retailer’s consumer-friendly conveniences:

  • Buy gifts online and pick them up in-store. Shoppers who want to buy online and pick up products in-store can do so at more than 100 Kohl’s locations in the areas of Chicago, Milwaukee, San Diego and central Pennsylvania.
  • Return gifts at any time. Kohl’s touts a “hassle-free” return policy, which allows customers to return items at any time and for any reason, even without a receipt.
  • Members earn rewards. Members of the Kohl’s Yes2You Rewards will earn one point for every dollar they spend. Every 100 points can be redeemed for a $5 reward.
  • Get free shipping on kiosk orders. Consumers who order items from one of its in-store Kohl’s Kiosks – which offer expanded merchandise selections not necessarily available in stores – can get free standard shipping in the U.S. on their order.

Note that Kohl’s Christmas hours may vary by location. Check for more information.
