Customers on Sprint’s prepaid service, dubbed Sprint Forward, are being migrated to Boost Mobile. Existing customers were notified starting in January 2019 and all accounts should be transitioned to Boost (which is owned by Sprint) by the end of September 2019.
Sprint struck a deal to merge with T-Mobile that includes selling its prepaid service (including Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile) to Dish Network, but the agreement still has several hurdles to clear before the deal is effective.
