Well, you don’t have to settle for anything less than free, because NerdWallet has found free checking accounts at community banks nationwide. Not only do you get the benefit of a free checking account, you can also feel safe and secure investing in a community bank, because many of them invest in local businesses and support their communities.

Think Mutual Bank – Rochester, MN

Think Mutual Bank offers a basic checking option for consumers who want a no-frills, fee-free checking experience. You get a Think Visa debit card, online bill pay and e-notices.
