Flying can be stressful enough, even without the crowds, the overpriced food and the possibility of your phone dying while you wait to board the plane.

Airport lounges aim to reduce some of the tension by offering separate, limited spaces away from the main terminals. Only available to eligible travelers, these lounges can provide amenities such as food, drinks, showers and a place to plug in your electronics.

Those flying through Boston Logan International Airport will be happy to know that there are a number of airport lounges available to travelers, no matter where they’re going. Let’s take a look.

About Boston airport lounges

There are quite a few airport lounges at Boston Logan, including options from all three major airline alliances: Star Alliance, Skyteam and Oneworld. There are also lounges available for those whose credit card offers a Priority Pass Select membership.

Terminal A: Delta Sky Club

Delta has two different Sky Club options within Terminal A.

Delta Sky Club, Gate A6

  • Located near gate A6.

  • Must present a boarding pass to enter. 

  • Access is available to those with lounge memberships, those flying in an international premium cabin on Delta or a SkyTeam partner, those with a day pass, eligible cardholders and those with Delta or Skyteam elite status on an eligible international flight.

The Delta Sky Club in Boston is across from gate A6 features complimentary food, beverages and Wi-Fi.

Delta Sky Club, Gate A18

  • Located near gate A18.

  • Must present a boarding pass to enter.

  • Access is available to those with lounge memberships, those flying in an international premium cabin on Delta or a SkyTeam partner, those with a day pass, eligible cardholders and those with Delta or SkyTeam elite status on an eligible international flight.

Along with food and drinks, those at this Sky Club will also be able to enjoy a shower before or after their flights.

Terminal B: Admirals Club, Chase Sapphire Lounge and United Club

The most exciting option in Terminal B is the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, which opened in May 2023.

American Airlines Admirals Club

  • Past security on the upper level, near gate B4. 

  • Must present a boarding pass to enter.

  • Open to those with lounge memberships, those flying in an international premium cabin, those with a day pass ($79 or 7,900 AAdvantage miles), active duty military, those with American or Oneworld elite status on an eligible international flight, and qualifying AAdvantage credit card holders, such as Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard®holders.

The Admirals Club in Boston offers all the standard amenities you’d expect, as well as a kids room, showers and even a conference room.

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

  • In the connector between gates B39 and B40. 

  • Open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

  • Must present boarding pass. 

  • Open to those with a Priority Pass membership. If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve® card as well, you are entitled to unlimited complimentary access. If you do not have a Chase Sapphire Reserve® card you can enter free once per year or pay $75 for additional visits. 

Splashy enough to offer its own wellness area with massage chairs, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is one of a few new offerings from card issuer Chase.

United Club

  • Level 3 near gate 24. 

  • Access is available to those with lounge memberships, those flying in an international premium cabin on a United or Star Alliance flight, those with a day pass, active duty military and those with United or Star Alliance elite status on an eligible international flight.

United’s Club lounge in Terminal B isn’t overly spectacular, but you can expect to find food, drinks and Wi-Fi on offer.

Terminal C: The Lounge and USO Lounge

Terminal C only has two lounges to offer, and with one being a USO lounge, traveler’s options are limited.

The Lounge

  • Across from gate C19. 

  • Must present a boarding pass. 

  • Access is available to those with a day pass or a Priority Pass membership. 

Those using Priority Pass will want to note that access may be restricted during busy periods of the day.

USO Center

  • Terminal C lower level near the American Airlines credit union. 

  • Open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • Open to active duty, guard and reserve members of the military as well as their dependents. 

Eligible service members can enjoy a variety of games, snacks and drinks at this USO location.

Terminal E: Air France Lounge, Emirates Lounge and more

Air France Lounge

  • After security, near gate 4. 

  • Must present a boarding pass.

  • Access is available to those with a Priority Pass membership, those flying in an international premium cabin on Air France or a SkyTeam partner, those with a day pass, those with Air France or SkyTeam elite status on an eligible flight, and passengers flying Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways or Royal Air Maroc who are in a business or first class cabin or have Oneworld elite status. 

The Air France lounge has a broad swathe of passengers who are allowed access, especially since it’s a member of the Priority Pass network. This means you’ll be able to use the lounge whenever you’re flying through Terminal E, no Air France or SkyTeam flight required.

British Airways Galleries Lounge

  • Across from gate E11.

  • Must present a boarding pass.

  • Access is available to those flying in an international premium cabin on British Airways or a Oneworld partner and those with British Airways or Oneworld elite status on an eligible flight.

Visitors can expect business services such as a dedicated working area and printing capability at this lounge.

The Platinum Card® from American Express

Delta Sky Club, Gate E13

  • Near gate E13. 

  • Open daily from 5:15 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. 

  • Must present a boarding pass to enter.

  • Access is available to those with lounge memberships, those flying in an international premium cabin on Delta or a SkyTeam partner, those with a day pass, eligible cardholders and those with Delta or SkyTeam elite status on an eligible international flight.

Although it’s lacking food options, this Sky Club location still provides showers and free alcoholic drinks.

Emirates Lounge

  • Overlooking gate E11. 

  • Open daily from 6:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m

  • Must present boarding pass. 

  • Access is available to those flying in an eligible premium cabin on Emirates, those with a day pass and those with Emirates elite status.

Lufthansa lounge

  • Across from gate E11. 

  • Open daily from 12:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  • Must present boarding pass.

  • Access is available to those flying in an international premium cabin on a Lufthansa or Star Alliance flight, those with Lufthansa or Star Alliance elite status on an eligible flight and those who hold The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

Final thoughts on the airport lounges in Boston Logan

With so many different lounges at Boston Logan airport, there’s no reason for you to get stuck with everybody else. No matter where you’re flying, you’ll be able to take advantage of the relative calm offered by the airport lounges when visiting Logan airport.
