The Citibank bonus could earn you $200, $500, $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 when you sign up for a new Citi checking account and complete the required activities.
To earn the bonus, you'll have to deposit at least $10,000 and meet a few other requirements. The deposit and minimum balance requirements are steep, but the bank offers perks for keeping large deposits with it, such as access to wealth management advisors and financial guidance, waived everyday banking fees and higher limits on ATM withdrawals.
Here’s a closer look at how to qualify for the Citi checking bonus.

The verdict: Is the Citibank bonus worth it?
If you can look past the high balance requirements and low interest rates in favor of earning a bonus (and enjoying the perks that come with premium accounts, if you open a non-basic account) then opening a Citi checking account could be worth it for you.
