Pros and cons

  • No annual fee

  • Relationship rewards for customers

  • New cardholder bonus offer

  • Must be a member/customer

  • Limited redemptions

  • High APR

  • Requires good/excellent credit

For frequent Target shoppers, the benefits offered on the Target REDcard™ Credit Card hit the bull's-eye.

This card features a generous 5% discount on all eligible Target purchases. Because you get those upfront savings at checkout, you don't need to worry about accruing and redeeming rewards. It also offers a 10% discount every year on your cardholder anniversary.

The annual fee is $0.

This card isn't the best choice if you plan to carry a balance since it comes with a steep ongoing APR: The ongoing APR is 26.65% Variable. But if you plan to pay your credit card bill in full every month and shop at Target regularly, it's a valuable offer.
